HaruNeko and HakuNeko audit: verified PT-BR manga sources

This August audit expanded MangaMazing's source coverage after fresh HaruNeko and HakuNeko source reviews. Live availability is always shown on the Status page.

What was added

• MangaLivre.to — Portuguese catalog, added through the WordPress Madara connector path
• TCB Scans — English scanlation source for popular weekly titles, added as a dedicated connector
• NineManga BR — broad Portuguese catalog, with search, chapter navigation, and image delivery verified
• Origami Orpheans — Portuguese scanlation catalog using a verified MangaStream reader flow

What was tested

Each accepted source had to pass the full reader path:

1. Search returns real manga results
2. Manga details load
3. Chapter lists resolve
4. Chapter pages return image URLs usable by the reader/downloader

What did not make the cut yet

Manga Online Blog, LeituraManga, Yomu Mangas, and Yomu Comics failed at least one server-side search or page-extraction gate. They were not activated. Manga Night passed a later API-backed reader test and is now active. A source that only searches is not enough for MangaMazing — it needs to read and download chapters too.

Current coverage

MangaMazing now exposes 14 manga sources: 8 English catalogs, 5 Portuguese catalogs, and 1 multi-language catalog. The Status page remains the source of truth for live health.
